DTT is part of the Dancemode UK group has to date trained over four hundred new dance teachers to the exacting IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association) standard, and since established in 1999 has inspired thousands of children to learn to dance via our children’s dance schools DanceMode Schools of Dance. Dancemode UK Ltd has a flexible model which allows it to establish independent dance clubs and also to help schools develop dance within and outside of the curriculum during term-time and in school holidays
Run as a licence, DanceMode has extended the Dancemode brand from Surrey to Essex, and under DTT has trained over 400 teachers who have travelled to train with us from as far as Toronto in Canada, Malta, Los Angeles to UK, Scotland and Ireland to gain an internationally recognised qualification. From being keen on Latin American and Ballroom as a child, she moved into Freestyle dance and went on to win the London & Home Counties Freestyle title five years running. A spell at the famous Brit School fed her love of dance and performance, and she later became a commercial street dance backing dancer for UK hip hop artists and choreographed various Kiss FM and Choice FM events. Dawn also founded DanceMass TV and now provides a training programme for those wishing to teach dance online. Today, with 22 years’ dancing experience of learning, teaching, adjudicating & presenting she has a wealth of knowledge to pass on, she also helps businesses to market their business online, mentors and coaches them to online business success. Her mission is to give back to the dance world by helping dancers get professionally qualified and empower dancers to entrepreneur success

The knowledge gained from ‘Dance Teaching and ‘Business Studies degrees’ together with her skills gained from being a parent. fitness instructor and school teacher ( both in the private and public sector) has enabled her to forfil her ambition of contributing her business skills in teaching and development in the dance industry, coaching dancers, teachers and studio owners on teaching and learning strategies.
Suzanne says “Being a brilliant dancer just isnt a guarantee to a successful dance business. To run a successful business you also need to recognise the needs and requirements of your students and staff and know how best to communicate and teach or coach them.”
