2 Day Intensive plus exam

Who should apply?

– Dancers must have adequate experience and familiar with what it is like in a dance class environment.
– Must be 18yrs+

How much work in involved in this course ?
There is part theory and part practical. At this level you will be expected to know the associate syllabus as well as the licentiate. You will be expected to revise and practice before taking your exam approx 5 weeks after the training.

What happens if I fail ?
We have a 99% pass rate. We would be honest with you if we feel you are not ready to take your exam and postpone your date. If you do fail however you can simple re-take the exam.

How soon can I take the licentiate level qualification after doing the associate level ?
2 years (unless you get written approval from the IDTA)

Do I have to take the associate level to do the licentiate level ?
Yes

The IDTA is a worldwide recognised body with establishments such as gyms, health clubs and schools accepting this qualification as professional dance instructor status. DTT are the 1st dance company established to provide intensive training programmes that met IDTA requirements have now trained over 300 candidates producing a 99% pass rate with majority of candidates achieving grades of high standard (results above 85%) and nominations for John Dilworth scholorships.
